I dont know how many of our newer members know that the American Cancer Society gives help to cancer patients in many ways. They could have volunteers drive you to radiation or doctor appointments. This is free of charge. Or, they can reimburse you for your travel expenses incurred while going thru radiation. They can help pay for prescriptions up to $300. They will set it up with your pharmacy to have a credit in your name that will pay for meds or even pick up the co-pays. The ACS will even pay up to $300 for a breast prosthesis if you have lost a breast to cancer.
