Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | I am home... I got to Pittsburgh about 5:45 and went right thru the routine. Everyone was great and nice but sure asked some questions after reading my chart. Then I heard the familialar , How in the world can you stand ll of what you have been thru and still smile and be alive. LOL Standard answer. I amd determined to make 100 and will with a smile and good friends. I only have 2 incisions about 1 1/2 to 2 inches from this one and no railroad tracks. I am in some pain but I actually feel great. The Dr told me to try at least one week of taking it easy. I'll do my best to keep him on my side. I hope all of you are still enjoying this nice life we have going. Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
