Hey Peter. My advice to you would be to make appointments at both places and see who you are comfortable with. In my sisters case we went the NYC which is about 45-90 minutes away from us depending on traffic. Yes it is a pain in the butt to drive there everyday for her radiation but it gives you piece of mind knowing you are going to the best. A lot of hospitals have social workers that can set up many things for you like housing and transportation. You can also contact the cancer society for help in those areas. As for now I would also take it step at a time. It isn't cancer until a biopsy says it's cancer. Much luck!
