Hello, It went great!! The weather was beautiful, the park where it took place was also beautiful. I'm not sure how many people were actually there, but I'd guess around 100. I thought that was good for the first walk. The dental students who organized it were so nice, and they did a great job. Yes, I even made it through my story. I got emotional a little, but didn't "lose it" like I thought I would. Got through the whole speech, and my family said they were proud of me. We are all looking forward to going again next year! I met a family who was walking in memory of their daughter. She was only 24 years old when she went through this. It was so heartening to talk to her Mom. Well, I hope we did some good.
