Wow, they boot you out of the hospital fast around here... I had my surgeries in Hong Kong and they tend to keep you several days. Wanted to let the drains come out and make sure there's no infections etc. I suspect if I hadn't had drains to deal with then I'd have gotten out much quicker

SCC Tongue, stage IV diagnosed Sept, 2002, 1st radical neck dissection left side in Sept, followed by RAD/Chemo. Discovered spread to right side nodes March 2003, second radical neck dissection April, followed by more RAD/Chemo.
