Although I still have half a numb tongue so taste is limited, I do taste sugar... almost wish I didn't because I like it too much. Dry mouth: yep. Thin beard: yep.
I should add that my RO suggested I give up alcohol, which I've always loved - wine and beer mainly - so I have. Decided I prefered breathing to drinking.
