Angelia, congrats. Great achievement! I think the swallowing ability and taste, as others have written, come back in increments. I could barely swallow soup at first and even 6 months out was sticking with things that were thin and wet. Now at nearly a year post TX I'm eating almost everything, although making sure I wash it down well. Taste is still iffy, but I'm hoping that will all return eventually. As I'm sure it will for you.

All these hurdles... and each one is a victory!
