I had my teeth pulled last year and followed the Marx protocol. I finished my set of 20 and the following week had my teeth pulled, 3 days later I finished up the last 10 HBO. I have not heard anything about a time frame except that it all should happen within a short amount of time. Ive done alot of dives and dont think a couple extra days would be a big deal. Wish I could tell you I knew for sure if it made that much of a difference. Im sure someone here knows the correct answer.
