Please help....My husband has completed 17 dives and his 20th will be on Thursday. His surgery for the extractions and 8 implants is scheduled for 4/30 which is 10 days after his last dive. The HBO clinic he is going to is telling us that the Marx protocol calls for surgery to take place within 5 days of the last dive while our oral surgeon says to stick to the protocol of 20 before and 10 after and that the elapsed time does not matter. I have tried to find the answer but I thought some one might now the answer to this. We dont have insurance and have paid the HBO clinic close to $8K already and they want another $1800 for 5 more dives. We may be living on the streets soon but he will have a nice set of chompers. lol
