Nancy,

I am so sorry that your Mom is facing chemo and rads again. Everything about this cancer is overwhelming. You have come to the right place for support. This is an amazing group of people who can help you get through this difficult time. There is always someone online. Ask questions and gather as much info as you can. You'll feel more empowered. Keep a notebook handy to jot down your questions for the Dr. And get the Nurse Practitioner contact info.

There are others on this site who have had glossectomies and who post regularly. I'm sure that you will hear from them.

Do you have friends that can help? If anyone offers help, take advantage of it. People don't know what to do or say during times like this. Grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning, --all the things we do every day can become difficult to manage. You might consider contacting the local chapter of the American Cancer Society, too.

Come here often even if all you need to do is vent. You are not alone! You'll make lots of friends here. Hang in there.
