OP Patient Advocate (1000+ posts) Joined: May 2009 Posts: 1,412 | I woke up this morning to grey gums in the front of my mouth. I went to a dentist today and he had no idea what it could be even after I told him my history. This is not my normal dentist as he is out of town and the dentist I went to is the one he refers to when he is out of town. None of my other Drs are in the office today. Is it normal for the gums to turn grey and be painful. I am going to see my regualr dentist next week, but I am afraid I am going to lose a tooth before that as it is really lose. I also called a periodontist and they are going to tryo to get me in next week. Unfortunately I am limited when I can go because I am giving tests all week. Anyway any ideas?
