My mom was dx with ORN a few weeks back, they took her in last Thursday to do biopsy to see if she was clear for HBO. The waiting is awful. Believe it or not, this is only her second biopsy, first was done week before last and was compromised. This time around I have a better idea of what everything means, not that I fully understand it by any means, but given just a little more education leads my mind to go places it shouldn't.
She returns to surgeon's office (different one by the way!) on the 30th to find out results. I know the rule, it's not cancer until a biopsy says it is...heart and mind just want to know yesterday!
