Has anyone been given this drug for treatment after cisplatin?
Gordon was sent home with 5 of these pills, along with 3 other medications.
He went absolutely nutso, like a manic high for a days,
then crashed and developed a complete aversion to food for a couple of
days. The counsellor he saw thought it might have been caused by this
drug, which apparently is a steroid.
Has anyone else had a similar reaction? Have you been given a different
drug that didn't cause this reaction?

Anne - CG to Gordon (59), non-smoker/non-drinker. SCC, BOT, HPV 16+, stage 3. Jan./10 - radical neck dissection to remove 48 lymph nodes, 1 node pos. Apr. 23/10 - finished 35 rad. and 3 cisplatin. Jul. 22/10 - PET scan clear.
