Hi All,
To cut a long story short I have had an MRI which showed a lump on the base of my tongue and then had a Radioactive Whole Body Iodine Scan because initially the doc thought I had a lingual thyroid but its not that.I now have to wait three weeks for a biopsy which seems like a long time to me?
Has anybody else had to wait that long and then been diagnosed with tongue cancer.I don't know if its a good thing because he musn't think it's too serious or would have done it straight away or a bad thing if it is cancer and it's more advanced.
Just wondered what everybodys thoughts are?
Thanks,
David.
