Sorry forgot to answer your question ..it's not approved by the FDA (failed phase 111 trials I believe) but I think the European EMEA has taken it on for further testing ..could be wrong on that. The Chinese did approve it but then shot the guy who did so for corruption ..ho hum..

There is, I'm sure, some benefit in the drug. My Mum certainly had some, but it's very limited to tumours that you can physically poke with a needle. I think that doctors in Hong Kong can use it since they're now part of China. Would be interesting if HNSCC Drs there use it since they're a bit detached from Chinese Government. What now looks really promising is Reolysin from Oncoylotics .. I'm tring to get my Mum on trial for that in the UK. Will find out soon if that's the case ..all fingers and toes crossed.
