Just like I got through Nam and cancer.... one day at a time, one obstacle at a time. It helps to have a sense of persistence and a belief that anything is possible, though the connections and opportunities to effect change may not be accessible or obvious to you today. Frustration is tempered with small successes, though it is a a routine part of the process and never more than a day away. Lastly, one phone call or email from someone whose life is better because of the effort, can carry me over days of frustration. A man who wants to to move a mountain starts with a handful of pebbles.... that man works daily not only to pick them up, but to inspire others to help him.
