Good Morning! No I havent forgotten about you guys! Its been 3.5 months since my last treatment and I have to say that I am very happy with my recovery so far! I for the most part eat and drink what I want, work 50-60 hours a week with no problems, pretty much all my hair has grown back except on my neck but it is starting to! I still wake up every morning very sore and after I eat something that all the doctors said "you wont be able to eat that anymore" my throat gets a little sore but not enough to keep me from eating it! I finally had a "good" ENT visit a couple weeks ago where he was very happy with the way everything looked and felt to the tune that he even pushed back my PET scan until April since I had a CT a month after treatment ended and it looked good. He told me he would put the order in for a PET if I wanted to do it for myself but said that he doesnt feel it is necessary. I am sure that my age, health and determination was the key for the quick recovery. My RO was shocked how well I bounced right back saying that it was the best he has ever seen in 25 years on the other hand said he hasnt seen too many 31 yr olds go thru it! So hopefully some people are reading this that are about to go thru treatment or are in the process of treatment and this gives them light that it will and can get better! I know everybody is different but with the right attitude and determination it can be done! Reading a lot of posts on here helped me and also scared me, I know I havent been on in awhile but that is do to me working so much and really trying to keep my mind of everything! It kind of funny how so many people that havent seen me for 4-5 months are absolutely shocked when they do and say how great I look since I lost so much weight and of course that is followed up with "you have to tell me how you did it" lol.....then I tell them "you really dont want to know that answer" lol! Well guys I wish you all very happy holidays and I know for myself and my family I am praying for a much much much better 2010!!!! Talk to you all soon!
