Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | I have hd many dialations brickster. They seem to make a great deal of difference in swallowing each time. I hope your Dr doesn't have a time line between them being done. I was at 1 yr intervals for dialations, then at 6 months, then went to 3 months. Right now I am 4 months past due for one but the OC has us at a stand still for awhile. good luck with them and don't let the dr forget you. I have been getting them since 1996 right after surgery to my esophagus for Barretts.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
