I was going to pm you to ask how your dad was doing. Our ENT is extraordinarily understanding about how waiting for results is so difficult and lets us hang around the hospital until the initial reading is on the hospital's computer and he'll tell us then (this is usually about 3-4 hours after the scan). It doesn't take a week but I imagine some MDs want to give the results in person. It also depends on how the imaging unit of the hospital sends info to the rest of the team (e.g., computer or otherwise).
