My 3 mo cat scan showed a 1.9x1.6 cm growth on my thyroid. Wow am I in a bad mood. I was just starting to feel great from the throat cancer. I go to see my cancer Dr. on Wednesday. The thyroid Dr. told me that the growth will need to have a biopsy to determine if it is cancer or not. The thyroid Dr. told me I have what is called thyroidist, and it should clear up in a while without medicine, it is due to the radiation. I also have what is called a "flap foot". When I walk my right foot will not lift up to let me have a normal gate. The ortho Dr. told me that he thinks there is some damage to nerve muscles from the position I was in on the radiation table. I read here one time that "radiation is the gift that keeps on giving". Boy oh boy is that correct.
