Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | Have they tried some type of therapy to get your mouth opening ? 2002 is a long time ago to still not be able to open your mouth. I know you have to be on someones back to take care of this problem. I wish you the best and hope that soon , you can get something done about this. For sure someone would get no rest as I would be on their back.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
