Patient Advocate (1000+ posts) Joined: May 2009 Posts: 1,412 | Kerri, What you are feeling is very normal. I had two partial glossectomies in a week. The cancer was completely removed like yours. This was 4 months ago and I still get worried and scared about ever little sore in my mouth. I think I called the Dr. every other day for awhile. They were so understanding and said to take it easy. It does get a little better with time, but that fear will really never go away. At least it hasn't for me. Glad they got it all.
