Joined: May 2002 Posts: 2,152 | Yes, laughter is a great healer and we have had some real great laughs on thsi forum from time to time.
These books will most likely appeal to women more than men, but two books I read on the beach years ago had me rolling in the sand with tears coming out my my eyes. I'm certain everyone thought I was nuts as I erupted into gales of laughter. They are If Life is a bowl of Cherries, why is mine always in the Pits and Why is the Grass always Greener over the Septic Tank, both by Erma Bombeck. Too bad I had forgotten about these 'til now. I will have to buy a few more to take to the beach this summer. I can always use a good laugh.
