Whatever it takes to control the pain make sure she gets it... no trying to tough it out. Kris is spot on, she has to swallow or she will lose the capability.
She is a lucky girl to have someone who cares so much. This disease is a nightmare for caregivers as well as patients. My husband was out of work for six months , his job entails a lot of travelling and trying to eat on the road was just not feasable. Our best wishes are with you and your family.
