Where I disagree is that if there is a systemic failure at the place your mother was treated, then future new patients might benefit from your exposing the problem. No I am not suggesting that you hire a lawyer, but instead speak to the management people at that care facility. Polite input is valuable as a learning tool.

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
