I am sorry you are feeling so bad. I can tell you that I had some days when I was just feeling terrible and very discouraged. Especially right after my biopsy on my tongue and after my surgery. I hated stitches in my tongue! Just thinking about it gives most people the heebie jeebies. But many people here know how it feels! You are not alone and we will all pull for you! The stitches I had dissolved on their own, but it took about 3 weeks or so. My tongue did feel sore for awhile. But time passes and it starts to heal and feel better. I chew on only one side of my mouth now and certain foods I don't bother about (meat) because they are more trouble to chew than they are worth! But I am back to regular eating and enjoying food! Waiting is really the worst! I will be thinking of you! Treat yourself to something if you can. I do meditation and that helped me alot! Denise
