I did my big share on Facebook, with co-workers, and students' parents this week. I have to admit it has helped by putting it out there. However, it has made it all very REAL. It was real before, but now it's out there.

All my co-workers have been absolutely amazing. I work at a private Christian school, and they are surrounding me and family with prayers. I truly have the best co-workers in the world. I am also thrilled that people are still treating me the same. I am still Lori, not cancer Lori, just good ole Lori.

Anxious for my surgery next week. Thank you all for being there for all of us newbies.

Tx 4/4/13 - Partial glossectomy (no rad/no chemo).
8/8/13 - Thyroid FNA - benign nodule
12/20/13 - Tongue Biopsy - Mild hyperkeratotic dysplasia
12/26/13 - Lymph FNA - benign (dx Cervical lymphadenopathy)
3/17/14 - Tongue Biopsy - normal tissue
5/5/14 - Tongue Biopsy - (awaiting results)
