There are also some who have had the combo you mentioned. I would suggest getting a second opinion if you have any reservations about your husbands treatment plan. There are several top cancer centers which may be able to help you sort out which solution would work best.
Everyone is different and will respond in their own way to medications and treatments. What works for one may not be the best for option another patient.
