Thank you for your detailed reply and voice of experience. We need to hear there is another side! We are now trying toredol for pain, and i make him take it even when he says it isnt so bad. The peg residual was more like 100 cc! We go to med onc tomorrow, hopefully will get something more effective for nausea and vomiting. Will try soda water, sounds like a great idea. He has the mouthwash, it too is making him gag. He is on zofran every 8 hours, only vomited twice today  Best, ess

Wife to "Beloved", Beloved is 60, non smoker, social drinker, T1N2a, on erbitux and radiation. I adore him.
PEG on 5/14, thank god we did this, he has lost 25 lbs with a peg! No regrets on this topic, but, will say it helps to have a nurse in the house.
