If another week or so has gone by and you still see them it is then that I would go in to have them checked out. If it takes a while to get into the oral surgeon or dentist you can always make the appt now and can always cancel if it goes away.
Congrats on throwing away the chew! Not an easy thing to do but life will be better without the stress of this stuff.
