I called my ENT today to let him know I had strep throat again. second time in a month. He said that if I continue to get strep throat so easily, he may want to take my tonsils out. Anyone here ever had a problem with strep throat? I think the strep throat has been worse than anything else.

I used to get it all of the time a few years ago. THe Dr just kept giving me anti biotics and never did take my tonsils out. But I haven't had strep for a few years now. LOL Maybe OC replaced it. You know what, maybe there is a connection between the 2. You have the problem I had with strep and have your tonsils yet as I do and we both have OC now. I wonder how many in the forums that fits. I bet there are quite a few. Might have a Medical discovery there.

The weird thing is, I neer had strep throat. I get diagnosed with cancer, and then Bam. I can not get rid of it. I am still feeling very weird. I am out of town right now otherwise I would call my Dr. to get in earlier than July 1, but what is he gonna do? He is not going to do a PET scan until after July to give my mouth time to heal. The problem, I am starting to have pain in areas I had not had pain before, and now my ears are hurting when I swallow and sometimes the back of my head hurts when I swallow. Maybe I am jsut being paranoid. I am trying not to think about all this stuff and have a good time at my science institute. I am enjoying the institute and it does get my mind off of everything for awhile, so I guess that is good.
