I have very dry skin, all over, head to toe itch. It started during Radiation and chemo and I was told to keep lotion on it. Treatments ended Nov. 10th. Nothing seems to help, I have tied all kinds of cream and after about 20 mins. it's back. I have a rash over most of body and now sores. Have any of you use any kind of cream or lotion that will clear it up or less itchy.

Have you asked your doctor to prescribe something for it? What type of chemo did you have? or was it Erbitux? There are a lot of products depending on the type of rash and if your radiated skin is involved or not. I would first talk to the radiation oncologist and make sure that you will not be damaging the radiated skin with a new product. Mine insisted that I only use certain products for 6 months. Then see your oncologist to find out if it is related to your treatments. Also have your thyroid checked by your GP as dry skin is a symptom of thyroid issues.

If everything is ok I have very good luck with the Aveeno products. Also Eucerin, Lubiderm and the new Vaseline Intensive Care products have helped.
