Although I am new to this site, I am overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of information I found here. As I read along and see the research you do, and the time spent unveiling new developments, and the sharing, that helps so much, I am warmed.
When I feel like I am alone in the world, awake in the middle of the night worrying, and my family doesn't quite get understand my tensions, I sign on here. I find good information, friends, compassion, and sharing.
I applaud you Gary for all your work, and also you Brian for this site, for all it has given me. I have already shared the website with two friends who are going thru similar battles here in New Jersey...and found all of you to be a source of strength. Knowledge is key in our battle..and you all share that....First hand!!!

2004 SCC R.tip 1/4 tongue Oct. 2005 R. Neck SCC cancer/Chemo Cisplatin 2x/8wks. Rad. Removed Jugular vein, Lymph gland & some neck muscle. TX finished 1/20/06... B.Cancer 3/29/07 Finished 6/07 Bi-op 7/15/09 SCC in-situ, laser surgery removed from 1st. sight. Right jaw replacement 11/3/14. 9 yrs cancer free as of Jan. 2015

SCC BOT, mets to neck, T4. From 3/03: 10wks daily multi-drug chemo, Then daily chemo with twice daily IMRT for 12 weeks - week on, week off. No surgery. New lung primary 12/07. Searching out tx options.
