I just found out that Mom's CAT scan shows an aneurysm in her neck and she will require surgery. The Dr told her if her headaches get worse or she experiences any other kind of "weird symptoms" to go the hospital immediately because she could die. frown

Man you and your mom have been thru a lot with your dad. I had an aortic abdominal anneurysm and I was lucky it was caught on a cat scan. It was supposed to be at least A year before I should worry and the Dr was going to watch it to check the growth. It was just about a month, 11 early when I had some trouble while golfing. The next morning I had surgery. Make sure your Mother keeps an upd ate on the anneurysm. It's ok unless it woukld get large enough to burst. You and she have my prayers for sure.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
