OCF was not part of creating it. 8:30 AM on Saturday is the first showing, it will air again during the week, but I have not been told those times. Dr. Sanjay Gupta (sp?) their medical correspondent will be presenting the story.

The host is Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a neurosurgeon in Atlanta.
"House Call" is on at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT on Saturday and is repeated at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT on Sunday -- so if you are on the West Coast, set your TiVos (or your alarm!).

April 2006: Husband dx by dentist with leukoplakia on tongue. Oral surgeon's biopsy 4/28/06: Moderate dysplasia; pathology report warned of possible "skip effect." ENT's excisional biopsy (got it all) 5/31/06: SCC in situ/small bit superficially invasive. Early detection saves lives.

Going to set my TIVO right now. Since Colleen didn't make it to the walk and I don't watch soap operas, this will be a good chance to see her in action and hopefully see a good story on oral cancer.

I think they did a good job and OCF got the website up when they flasheded one of Colleen's PSA's on the screen. I think it was on the screen for too short a time for anyone to really get the website written down and unfortunately Dr. Gupta did not mention the OCF name. At least it was there. I've tried to get the website on in both of my TV spots and it was to no avail. The most important thing is that the words "oral cancer", the statistics and the HPV connection were discussed. Hopefully those that caught the show will make sure that they are getting screened or find a new dentist that will do it. Jerry

It also showed part of Colleen's public service announcement, with the OCF website address displayed across the bottom of the screen. (The address was kind of hard to read, though, since the bottom third of the TV screen was taken up with information about the primary in Guam.) "House Call" is available as a video podcast -- scroll down to "Paging Dr. Gupta." I'd think the segment would also show up on CNN's health news page at some point. -- Leslie

Perhaps they will update it down the road.
