It seem the morning hot coffee brings the mucous up pretty fast . But I just gotta have hot coffee. Headache time for me without.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

Hi,

My Dad is now spitting all the time now. He finished his treatment in June of 2006. Had a dry mouth for a while. Had his ND in March of 2007.

He finds milk helps wash food down and hot tea gets out the mucus that sits in the throat. He says MouthKote helps with dry mouth at night; he keeps this at his night table. Since about Sept/07 he started getting lots of saliva and is spitting all day long now.

Best wishes,

LisaB
