It has been a few months since I was last on this board, asking questions and remaining hopeful that we were on our way to beating this terrible disease. Sadly, Gail had a second reoccurance that had put her health in a steep decline right after Christmas.

She passed away last Friday, 2/3/06 peacefully at home with my 15 year old son and I holding her hands and our immediate family at her side. Thank you all for your support in the short time I was on the website.

Ken

Dear Ken,

You and your family have my condolences over the passing of your wife Gail. I take solace in knowing she suffers no more. I hope as time goes by it will help lessen the pain you feel now.

Ken, I am so sorry that you and your family lost your wife to this disease. I am glad she passed peacefully and with her loved ones around her. As you move through your grief, at least you can know you gave her that when that was all you could give. It is not a small thing.

It took so much to share your loss with us. Peace to you and your son. He is at such a special age so almost a man and yet still a boy. I wish you both strength and we are always here if you just need us.

It may not seem so to you right now, but Gail was a fortunate woman, in that she had you and your son to love and be loved by, and she died peacefully in the arms of her loved ones. That means so much. I wish for you and your family the blessings of peace and consolation in the years to come. May you remember the happy times you all had, and rejoice in the fact that you knew her.

Ken,

I don't understand cancer, its terrible. I hope that soon there is a cure and something to stop its occurance so we can live with our loved ones longer. Till then, our caretakers give us strength.

Gail will be missed, and now it think its time for you and your son to be extra kind to yourselves, family and friends.

best regards,
larry bliven
