What a great idea! - especially if we can get the word out on oral cancer and at least leave some OCF literature next time we visit the beauty salon or barber shop where the environment may be much more conducive to conversation than it is in the dentist chair when your mouth is being worked on and all you can manage at times is "un-huh". Not only that, but most people visit the the BS's more often than they do the dentist and this could certainly give early detection a little boost!

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April. --- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here
