Hi Everybody,
Thought I would give you an update on my latest cancer journey. I still have the mouth ulcers but things are moving forward. I start the Oxygen treatments next Monday. My treatments will
be at 7:30 a.m. Monday thru Friday of each week.
My drive time will be an hour each way and the treatments will last appx. 2 hours. This will be a real change in my sleep patterns. Hey, if treatments help, I would stay up ALL night. My insurance has approved 40 treatments.

I thought this was going to be all my news, but I
went to the ENT Dr. today, and he went over my
PET scan I had last week and told me they had found an Ill defined new opacity in the right upper lung of uncertain significance This is new since 5/3/07. They are now scheduling a CT scan as they feel it may be useful in further evaluation. Needless to say, I am scared and would appreciate any feedback you can give me.
I'm afraid the cancer may have moved into the lungs.

Judy

Girl, there are loads on here who have had queries on their Pet scans and most seem to turn out okay, so just hang on to that thought.
And try and get some rest in between all that driving and treating--in some ways I'm glad the UK is so small--takes me half an hour max to get to appointments.

Thinking of you,

Only a half hour to get to your appts huh? Brenda, you can't go around the block in half an hour here and I would say that is an accurate statement for you also Judy? Also Judy, there is a guy from Atlanta doing HBO. His name here is Bill Dozier. Drop him a line and maybe he can help ease some tensions. Good Luck and God Bless. smile
