A couple of years ago i started to snore and it got progressively worse. One time my wife of 30 yrs gave me nose patches to relieve the noise at night. That didn't do much to help.

However after treatment for head/neck cancer, I now sleep quietly again. Kathy's so happy she quit beating me while i sleep.

Any other snoring stories out there?

Hi,I know how your poor wife feels. I said in front of my ENT my husband snored so bad it was like sleeping in a pig sty. They laughed and he looked crestfallen that I would say such a thing! Anyway what cured him was that he quit smoking.EnT said ,yes the smoking would have irritated the area and created the snoreing, so if you are a caregiver, or whatever of a OC patient if that doesn't scare you out of smoking maybe the fact that you will sleep better and make your whole family happier may help.We are not beating you, we are "poking" you, gently so you roll over and quit snoreing long enough that we can get some sleep!Quiet in Pa. gnelson

Ok, call me crazy, but when Jim and I got together 11 years ago, I had been divorced for 2 years and was so lonely, that when he started sleeping in my bed and snoring the walls down, I cried for joy that he was there making that noise. Now, after he has gone through all his treatments, he does not snore anymore either. I don't miss it, but if it came back I would not say a word because it would mean he is still here with me. He is my soul mate, the love of my life, and I do not know what I would do without him.
