I guess I heard what I wanted to hear and shut out the part where he said, MAY BE AVAILABLE. The trial of the two drugs ended last week with less than satisfactory results over a span of two years. I begin conventional chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Taxotere) 6 weekly infusions then a 2 week rest and then 6 more weekly infusions,Friday morning. Then a CT scan to see if we beat the wolf away from the door. Darrell

Heopted for cisplatin and taxotere rather than carboplatin. They are both in the same family but chemically different. He also changed my dosage, from weekly to ever three weeks. I had my first infusion today,4 hours on the Chemo-Couch. I can tell that this stronger medication is gonna kick my butt. But I have had my butt kicked before, I ain't no virgin. Darrell
