Wilma, how are you? I am glad to see they went ahead and removed the tonsil, did they give you any further information?
Eat lots of ice cream, at least that what we tell the kids when they get their tonsils removed.
Let us know how things progress.
Take care
Marica

Wilma
So glad you are home, sorry it became more than a biopsy. You could try the old standby of one mug of warm water with a teaspoon of salt dissolved in it, gargle and rinse every 30 minutes or so, hope this helps. I had my tonsils removed when I was 5... so sorry I don't remember much...
Sunshine... love and hugs

THANK YOU /MARICA/HELEN the consultant said my right tonsil was very large and he said it would be best removed now rather than later as a precaution,as he didnt like the look of it,yes marica i am eating ice creams and popsicles things i dont normaly like may i add lol.... ive lost 6.1bs in 4 days couldnt loose that in a month when i tried lol....thanks helen for the advice they didnt even give a leaflet on what i should do, i mean its all new to me ive never had a tonsil out, and neither has my daughter or grand kids, so its not like i know what to expect.im just rather in pain at this point will keep yous updated as soon as i know the results....love and hugs to you all......

Hi Wilma dear. I am happy to see you back and smiling. Hopefully your biopsy will reveal good news that all is well.

I remember all the ice cream I ate when I had my tonsils out as a child so have fun in Ben& Jerrys heaven. smile

Blessings and hugs,
Barbara~

Hi Wilma.

Having your tonsil removed as an adult is much harder than as a young kid. I suspect you will start to feel a little better each day. Enjoy the ice cream if you can. Hoping the biospy comes back clean.

Best Wishes, Danny Boy
