My mom and her husband lived in New Orleans for 8 years, Metarie was the name of the place. My stepdad's history is there and they lived in the steamboat house that his great-great grandfather built. It sits right on the river and is one of the attractions on a sight seeing tour, amazing house. There are no words to describe New Orleans, especially the night life. But if you like the concept of voodoo and spirits, and all that type of stuff, you will find the place fascinating. I'm not much of a party girl so I spent most of my time visiting the old cemetary's and the shops. Love, Minnie
SCC Left Mandible. Jaw replaced with bone from leg. Neck disection, 37 radiation treatments. Recurrence 8-28-07, stage 2, tongue. We will all miss her greatly.
