He still cannot take a drink of water, but wanted some suggestions as to some of the first things to try when he can get something thru his mouth. Wondered what worked for some of you.
Dan Bogan - what did you start with?
Dan is so wanting to at least drink again so as to get rid of the PEG as soon as possible.
Thanks so much! Debbie

You both have been through so much and your post's reflect your strong faith. You deserve some good news!!!!
I found soup to be the easiest to eat and I love all kinds. Mostly homemade. I also drink whole milk with CIB mixed in for the extra calories. I haven't got on the scale since the tube was removed. I know I have lost some weight but after all the Jevity I was feeding myself it's not easy eating 2000 calories a day. Also I have a hot fudge sunday every day. Lots of calories and taste good to. Ice cream goes down real nicely. Each swallow of food is a thought out process. I am able to eat popcorn now. I hope dan will be able to eat soon.
Your Friend, Dan
