Thank you so much for posting. I'm glad Eric is doing so well. And there are many of us that know the joy of doing something we were able to do before the big "C" became our life. It reminds us that we are getting our life back. The "new normal" is not a bad thing. And I believe our caregivers are as happy for us as we are for ourselves. This board needed to hear a good story, and thank you for supplying it.
All I have to say about "spit". It's kinda' like the violin they told me I'll never play. I couldn't play it before!!! (Joanna, That spiting thing is unladylike for us southern bells...didn't before, have an excuse not to now!)
As for Brain's hijack of the thread. I have no comment on his comments. (except maybe - you go guy!)
Take care and check back often. There are many people that you will be able to help when you can. Dinah | | |

Glad to hear that Eric is doing well, was wondering myself how things were going. He's very lucky to have a friend like you to help him through these times. You know things are getting better both physically and mentally when the verbal sparring starts. I had a chance to go anyplace in the U.S. for treatment, but elected to stay in Hong Kong because I could still go "home" to China on weekends and see my friends.
Next thing is to make him deal with the zoo that is the Canton Fair next time around. If you guys ever get over this way let me know. Bob

Cancer sures makes us appreciate those things that were so easy to take for granted pre-C.
I just went cross-country skiing! (not at my same old pace, but...)
I'm a novice kayaker, but it is one of the things I'm looking forward to when the weather warms up.
Pass along the greetings!
