Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 794 | I am excited. I called the chairperson for our local American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, which will be held here on Friday, April 27. to offer to help in some way. She offered me a spot on the speakers' platform for that night, and I am very pleased about that. They are hosting a luncheon this Saturday, and I plan to take brochures that I received from Brian.
Brian, I may need to order more brochures, but I'll see what I have left after Saturday's luncheon.
I have wanted to do something useful, and now I get the chance. I suggest that many of you out there could offer your services in the same way. Just call your local ACS office. They were happy to add me to their program.
Now I have to decide what to say, but there is a world of info on this site, so I am not worried about that.
