Hello Randy

Someone will post shortly. I have not had this treatment.

But I have read here that some have "bad reactions" to certain TX and they will switch to another type.

I'm sure you will get an answer soon. Sorry to hear this. It seemed as all was going so well for you.

Sincerely, Petey

I take it you are having a lot of issues with nausea, vomiting and acid reflux. Not uncommon issues. Have they put you on something like Prevacid for the acid reflux? That may help. Also if you're not on a strong anti nausea drug like zofran - that one comes in a tablet that can be dissoved under your tongue - and can be taken twice a day. If you're not drinking 2-3 quarts of water a day that can be making all the symptoms worse. Small amounts on a frequent basis seemed to work for Jack - along with IV's at night for 3-5 days for each round of cisplatin. We also ran the PEG tube feedings on a slow drip gravity bag hung on an IV pole. Watch your position when you are eating, that makes nausea worse.
Regards JoAnne

Hello Randy

I just E-mailed you a thread that was posted 6-8-2007 by "Markus" in "Medications, Treatment, Procedures".

There were many responses from senior members who have had this TX.

Prayers and Best Wishes.
