Donna, I'm going to agree with the other guys on this board, if John is complaining about breathing, then he needs to get into see the doc. At the worse when this starts up on my throat, I don't feel breathing problems, can still swallow, just real tight and uncomfortable.
Sore shoulders seem to go with this. I still don't have much range of motion on the left side, that surgery was done 7 months ago and had muscle taken for the tonge flap. Right should still is sore, along with an area around my right ear. Better range of motion, but if I walk alot it feels like my shoulder is coming out of joint.
Mark, the problem with me is I HATE to be inactive, so all these aches and pains, tiredness, etc doesn't sit well with me, ok, I'm in my late 40's and my body probably would have half these aches and pains anyway as abused as it is. Combined with the fact that I was just getting back to about as "normal" as I think I was going to get physically, back to work normal hours, hitting golf balls in the eveining, etc, and then having to do this all over again with the surgery and radiation, has added to my frustration level a lot..
But I got through this once, I can get through it again, may take a little longer, look a little rougher, but luckily I'll be around for quite a while aggravating people.
