My husband wants to get the cancer pockets lanced. When they did the biopsy the ENT put a hole in on of the hard nodes in his throat and alot of junk came out but it eased the pain in his throat. Now that he has several of these nodes in his mouth he wnat s them lanced and drain to ease the pain from the pressure. Has anyone heard of this being done?

Mar, I haven't heard of anything like that being done. I would be a bit concerned about potential for infection, but I would sure be asking Dr. Dort about it. I suspect he'd give you a definitve answer without any tap-dancing

I hope things are going O.K. for you both
