The food thing was upsetting him. We got over that..He is still trying to come to terms with the fact he has cancer and is so sick. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The hospital has an excellent group of people who provide councilling to cancer patients and their families only...they know what they're doing.
There is no fee of any kind for this (Thank you, Canada!) and I can tell you from personal experience, it makes a WORLD of difference.
Without it, we (my family and I) wouldn't have gotten through this.
Lastly, he HAS to manage his pain levels. THey are severe, and that will be a factor in his depression as well. Insist on the Doctor taking a more agressive role in that Wayne

Today was a good day...and my husband has started to eat pureed foods and is taking some liquids by feed tube. His electrolytes seem to be back on track. He has lots of colour in his face. I had a social worker go in and talk to him which I believe really helped. The doctor is pleased with his progress. He is going to a lodge where other people who have cancer stay and will be able to come home for weekends. Hopefully with treatment he will be healthy and cancer free. Lots of prayers have been answered. Thanks again for now.
